Disco Raja Analysis
Disco Raja is a fun ride that is laced with some interesting sci-fi drama. The first half of the film is laced with all the needed commercial ingredients in the right amounts. The songs are well shot and presented. The cinematography work and the background score excel in every single frame in the film. The interval episode looks completely thrilling and on the whole, the first half of Disco Raja looks impressive and thoroughly engaging.
The second half of Disco Raja lacks interesting narration. It falls flat because of the predictable presentation. The flashback episodes along with the revenge drama has nothing new and exciting. The songs are shot well and the pre-climax episodes make the film even more boring. The twist in the climax comes as a huge surprise as it is unpredictable. Disco Raja ends up on a decent note.
Performance
Ravi Teja looks super thundering and realistic. The role looks like penned especially for Ravi Teja and he is super apt, energetic in the assignment. He carries the entire film forward. Payal Rajput has a decent emotional role. Nabha Natesh looks bubbly and entertaining. Tanya Hope plays a scientist and she looks apt. Bobby Simha is the other highlight of Disco Raja and he shines well. Vennela Kishore and Sunil entertained the audience well. All the other actors played their roles well.
Disco Raja has an interesting plot. But the narration and presentation make the film fall flat. The screenplay and dialogues are the major disappointments of Disco Raja. The music has been decent and the background score elevates the film well. The cinematography work of Disco Raja is an asset to the film. The editing work looks good and the production values make the film look lavish in every frame. VI Anand manages to be decent in his direction.
Disco Raja Final Word
Disco Raja is an interesting sci-fi thriller that falls short because of the predictable and pale second half.
