Jiva, son of well noted producer R.B. Chowdary of Super Good Films, acted in a Movie that is ‘Rangam’. The flick is entertaining, appealing to today’s phase of politics or human life style. And yes, including the main star cast every actor’s role is pre defined at to the point itself. ‘Rangam’ is a Block Buster hit in Tamil as ‘KO’. The film is a Break from other regular flicks and is refreshing. However, it is very common that     the film has ‘Tamil’ flavors in it.

Story:

Ashwin (jiiva) is a photographer working in the press circles. His colleagues are Renuka (karthika) an investigative Saru (piaa) the entertainment in-charge. The story actually becomes sensible when there starts a tough fight between Chief Minister Yogeswar (prakashraj) and his opponent (kota). At this point, there enters a third person who actually wants to change the entire system, and he being Vasanth (ajmal). In a case, an explosion takes place, how the situations take a turn from then is a rest of the Story.

Performances:
The thought of a Director to make such a Brave attempt has to be appreciated. Hero Jiva, Heroines Karthika and Piaa, other actors like Prakashraj, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sona did their Best. The locations were realistic and the songs were short up to the expectation. The Music scores of ‘Harris Jayraj’ are already making the best of the chartbusters. The flick is for those who look at the Technical values and new approach of a story in the films.

Technicalities:
Camera work was good in the film. The Editing was also decent. The Dialouges are pretty much realistic. The Back round score is equally appealing to the film. The songs are one of the assets of the flick.

Final Word: ‘Rangam’ – A film made with a Brave Attempt. A worth watching film appealing to the all classes of the audience.
