“I am not using my intelligence and cleverness to make the movie and that is why my movies are remaining as failures,” says director Teja.
Director Teja, the man who once brought a revolution in the small films, is now finding tough to get a success. His recent film Hora Hori is left as a disaster at the box office.
The cinema audience opined that, he continuously uses the same Jayam formula for all his later films and trying to create the same magic, but finally all those films are digging him deeper into the earth.
When Teja was asked about the reason for his failures, he said, “I became lazy now a days and not able to focus on the scripts properly. Hora Hori did not work out and that’s it.”
If this is one side of the coin, the other side says few reasons for his dip in the career. Firstly, Teja’s controversial comments about the stars and also being involved in controversies with the actors in his film during the production, are all making Teja to be cornered.
Recently, Teja said, “Mahesh Babu adopted the villages just for the secret tax benefits offered by the government. If he really wished to do welfare to the villages, he might have adopted during Okkadu movie time itself.”
This comment raised severe controversy and Mahesh fans took the issue seriously and started abusing him on the social networking sites. In another situation, Teja said that, the stars who acted with him are idiots.
At a time, where the career is seeing the severe downfall, making such controversial issues would show an impact on his film career too. However, hope Teja stops making such comments on the heroes and comes forward with the interesting scripts and amazing directional skills and gives out an inspiring product like Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam etc.
