Teja is once a star director, who brought a revolution in the small films, by increasing the standard of the small films and proved that even those films can turn as blockbusters.
Chithram, Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam are a few of those films, who set a new standard in Telugu cinema. However, after the entrance of the other new directors, Teja movies started getting affected with obsolescence. A few even said that, he is using the same old formula repeatedly and that pushed him behind from the race. In fact that comment might not be omitted as Teja had no proper success since long.
More people watched Jayam than Baahubali - Teja
In this situation, the director is making the controversial comments may be to be in the news continuously. For this, he is targeting the big films and big heroes. Recently, he said that, upon his inquiry he found out that, number of people watched Jayam, than Baahubali. The people who watched the latter movie are found not satisfied.”
After this comment, Rajamouli and Prabhas fans declared war on social networking site by posting abusing comments. However, as the issue calmed down, Teja came up with the fresh controversy, saying that, “Mahesh Babu adopted the village only for the tax deduction benefits of the government. If he is really committed to serve the people, he might have done during ‘Okkadu’ movie itself.”
This fresh comments on Mahesh Babu went viral among Mahesh fans, saying that their hero is committed to social service from the beginning and started abusing Teja online.
Reason behind Teja’s targeting Mahesh
It is to be remembered that, Teja approached Mahesh for a film a year back, and later nothing was heard about the project. So it can now be guessed that, Mahesh might have rejected Teja movie offer, as their earlier film Nijam was a flop. This might be the reason for Teja for commenting on Mahesh adopting the village.
However, Teja’s upcoming flick ‘Hora Hori’ is getting released in the theaters this Friday. Let us wish that, he comes back with a bang at least with this movie.
