Serious contemplations were swarming across the media circles, about a plausible combo of Soundarapandian fame director and actor Sasi Kumar and the OK OK actress Hansika Motuwani, acting together.

The rumors started to take off when a renowned Kannada  producer approached Sasi Kumar, for his film to be directed by by Socrates, a former assistant of Kamal Haasan and Mouli. It was also stated that after much persuasion and lured by a hefty pay packet, the actor obliged. And that Hansika would be cast opposite the hero. Some even argued that Hansika would definitely oblige after acting with debutant Udayanidhi Stalin in OK OK.  

The actress released a statement in Chennai, 'I haven't signed any movie of Sashi Kumar sir .. All the rumors running around are absolutely FAKE.'
