Currently Daggubati Rana is busy in the shooting of a new film Naa Ishtam, As Genelia is playing the female lead role in this film.However Rana has also started work for his long withhold project Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum under the direction of Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna who is generally known as Krish.As the director Krish became very famous with the two films one is Gamyam and other is Vedam.

So currently at this time Daggubati Rana's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum shooting is also going on.On the other hand the heroine for the film is not still decided.Director Krish moved towards with two heroines one is Anushka as she is preferred foremost.yet the director Krish to get an accepntance.Incase if Actress Anushka says no then the second preference could be Richa Gangopadhyaya.So Daggubati Rana extends on hold for his heroine!
