Mega family offers Rs.2 Cr to Sirish for divorce?

chiru-daughterTollywood is abuzz with rumours that Srija, the second daughter of mega star and PRP chief Chiranjeevi has almost finalized the divorce with her husband Sirish Bharadwaj.

Reports say that the continuous pressure, being exercised by the Chiranjeevi family, has made the crestfallen husband agree to the divorce demand. In return for agreeing to the divorce, Chiranjeevi is said to have offered around Rs.2 Cr towards compensation to Sirish.

It may be mentioned that Srija filed a complaint with the women’s wing of the central crime station against her husband and mother-in-law for dowry harassment and domestic violence saying that she could not lead conjugal life any more with her husband.

While a court granted anticipatory bail to Surya Mangala, Sirish Bharadwaj’s mother, it had refused bail to the main accused Sirish.

Meanwhile, Sirish filed a petition in Lok Adalat requesting that her wife be called for counseling but surprisingly both of them avoided counseling on March 31. Again, both of them were served notices to attend counseling on a future date.

While this was going on, the back door attempts to bring about a divorce were being carried out simultaneously and the mega star family seems to have offered Rs.50 lakh as compensation to Sirish first but later on it was increased to Rs.2 Cr to lure him into accepting the divorce. Sirish is said to have accepted the amount for agreeing to sign the divorce papers.

There are reports that Chiru has been planning to marry off his daughter Srija to a Pune based business man belonging to his Kapu community. Now, it is only a matter of days before Srija and Bharadwaj were legally separated.

For Sirish, it is better to take the amount and get married again in stead of getting suffocated in a jail cell.
