Campaign against Jagan in Karnataka

jagan and anardhanWhile the former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy has been trying to establish himself in the political arena of AP with a series of hunger strikes in the name of seeking solutions to various problems faced by the people, a voluntary organization in Karnataka is quietly working against him in Karnataka waging a ‘Quit Karnataka’ campaign.

‘Kasturi Karnataka Jana Pravedika’, a voluntary organization working for the welfare of the farmers in the state has reportedly sent letters to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the President Prathiba Patil seeking CBI investigation into the illegal properties accumulated by Jagan in Karnataka.

The organization has charged that the family of Gali Janardhan reddy and that of late YSR had accumulated hundreds of crores of rupees through illegal mining in the Andhra-Karnataka border and bought hundreds of acres of land near the Devanahalli international airport at Bangalore.

It may be mentioned that the members of this voluntary organization had recently conducted a Dharna in Delhi opposing Jagan’s one day fast against Krishna water tribunal judgment.

“You are staying in Karnataka after accumulating hundreds of crores of rupees illegally and you have taken up a hunger strike against Karnataka people,” they told him and asked him an unconditional apology to Karnataka people for taking up the fast. “Or else, we will demolish your posh Bungalow at Devanahalli and not allow you to enter Karnataka,” they threatened him.
