The Hyderabad police, who are already busy with Telangana agitation and are unable to find time to cope with increasing number of strike related cases, have got another headache in shape of a news portal called greatandhra.com.

The website, which has gained notoriety for publishing obscene, denigrating and cheap stuff against top celebrities and VIPs, has now earned the wrath of the fans of mega star Chiranjeevi for publishing damaging articles against the actor-turned-politician and his son.

Mega Fans Asscoaition representative Yadav said that greatandhra created defaming false  rumours,gossips  targeting Chiru, his family members including Charan and Pawan Kalayan maligining their celebrity status. He said greatandhra stooped to demeaning levels of spreading rumours that Kalayan marraiage is borken; .. etc. Venkat seems to have institutionalised gossip mongering  by turning greatandhra as a parasite  making money on celebrities and their fan following exploiting celebrity fan's inquisitiveness to know more about their favorite actor/actress.

The central crime station officials and the cyber crime police have registered  more cases against the website and its owner Mr Venkata reddy today on complaints lodged by Chiranjeevi fans.

Early this week Sivaji , Tollywood hero filed a similar cases on greatandhra.com for mentally torturing, blackmailing him with false news and gossips.He said Sirasri and Venkat demanded high priced ads for his movies and when he said he can't afford these monies for ads, they threatened with giving -ve publicitiy and started issuing gossips saying that Sivaji is in ICU ..etc which lead to lot of agony to his parents and his family.

The fans in their complaint said that the website has published articles against Chiranjeevi and his actor- son Ram Charan in a way damaging their social status and reputation. They have requested the police to take suitable action against the website owner Venkata Reddy and ensure that such vilification campaign is not repeated by its owner.

It might be recalled that Venkata reddy was arrested a few days ago on a complaint lodged by the congress MP Mr Madhu Yasahki Goud for writing damaging stories about his personal life. However, Mr Venkata reddy was out on bail.

Tollywood hero Sivaji while lodging a complaint against the website and its owner for reportedly blackmailing him also urged the police to ban the website permanently and stated Venkat is a mentally sick fellow and named him as 'unmadi' who is writing all these obscene gossips from bangalore adda ( Shoba flats) for self enrichment disguising himself as a journalist.
