Record breaking business for Vijay's Leo:- Vijay's next film Leo is the most awaited Indian film. Vikram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj is the director and the film is aimed for Dasara release. The makers closed all the deals and the makers pocketed a whopping Rs 434 crores which is a record for a Tamil film till date. Netflix picked up the digital streaming rights for Rs 125 crores which also equals the remuneration of Vijay. Sun TV bagged the satellite rights for Rs 70 crores and the audio rights are sold for Rs 15 crores.
The total theatrical rights are sold for Rs 224 crores. The songs that are out are chartbusters. Leo is an action thriller and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the lead antagonist. Action King Arjun will be seen in a pivotal role. Trisha is the leading lady in Leo and Anirudh scored the music. Seven Screen Studio are the producers.
