Megastar Pushes Acharya Shoot to next year:- The ongoing coronavirus pandemic delayed the plans of everyone by a year. Though the young actors of Telugu cinema resumed their shoots, the veteran actors like Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh are yet to step out of their houses. There are talks that Chiranjeevi would resume the shoot of Acharya from October, the shoot did not commence. Though the wave of coronavirus is coming down across the country, Chiranjeevi is said to have decided to resume the shoot only after things return back to normal. The shoot of Acharya will now start after Sankranthi 2021.

Chiranjeevi continues to be at home and is spending time with his family. He is attending the meetings through zoom calls and kept a close focus on the pre-production work of his upcoming movies. Acharya is a social drama that is directed by Koratala Siva. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine and Ram Charan has a crucial role in the film. Koratala Siva is utilizing the break and is reworking on the script. Manisharma is composing the music and background score for Acharya. Matinee Entertainments are the producers. Chiranjeevi is in plans to wrap up the shoot of Acharya in quick back to back schedules.
