Mehreen Locked to Romance Gopichand:- Gopichand hasn't tasted success in the recent years and is waiting for the one big break. After his last film Pantham ended up as an average fare, he signed his next film for Tamil director Thiru. The movie is said to be a stylish action drama and Gopichand plays a spy in the film. A 45 day-long schedule has been planned in Jaisalmer and on the last day of the shoot, Gopichand injured himself badly during the shoot of an action stunt.

The shoot of the film is kept on hold for two months and will start now in a week. Though Tamannaah was initially considered to play the female lead, she was later replaced with Mehreen. Thiru gave a narration to Mehreen and the actress gave a positive nod. She will join the sets next month. Despite of the super success of F2, Mehreen has been struggling for an opportunity in Telugu cinema. AK Entertainments will produce this film and the makers are in plans to release this film for Dasara 2019.
