Censor Hurdles for Vijay Devarakonda's NOTA: Vijay Devarakonda is all set to test his luck with his next film NOTA, a political drama directed by Anand Shankar. The film is slated for October 5th release in Telugu and Tamil languages. The Tamil version of NOTA cleared the censor scrutiny and it has been awarded clean U certificate but things have been completely different with the Telugu version. The film has been screened for censor board members on Monday and it is yet to get the clearance.
The Censor board suggested several cuts and voice mutes for the film to avoid political controversies. The makers are expected to get the clearance today and NOTA Telugu version will be issued U/A certificate. Though the filmmakers initially did not want to remove the suggested episodes, they had no option as they are running out of time. NOTA features Vijay Devarakonda as a young Chief Minister. Studio Green bankrolled the film and Mehreen is the heroine.
