His recent outing Geetha Govindam is a smashing hit all over and has been shattering all the existing records of Telugu cinema. Parasuram is the director and Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this romantic entertainer. Geetha Govindam released on August 15th and has been declared as a blockbuster. The film grossed Rs 37.45 crores in three days of its box-office run in three days.
Made on a budget of Rs 10 crores, the film collected a share of Rs 19 crores in three days. The film crossed break even in just two days. Gopi Sundar composed the music and GA2 Pictures bankrolled Geetha Govindam. Vijay Devarakonda's performance, entertainment and the chemistry between the lead pair received overwhelming response from the audience.
