2.0 Delay Costs Over Rs 100 Crores:- Superstar Rajinikanth pinned many hopes on his next film titled 2.0 and the movie completed the principle shoot long ago. Shankar is the director and the movie is a sequel for Robo. Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar are the lead actors in this sci fi thriller and the makers allotted Rs 400 crores as the budget. The film’s VFX work is costing a bomb and Shankar is not completely happy with the VFX work because of which the film’s release has been delayed several times.

Now the delay in the release is costing Rs 100 crores for the makers which is huge. The budget of 2.0 is said to have touched Rs 500 crores and the makers are still unclear about the film’s release. Shankar is expected to announce the release date soon after the completion of VFX work. AR Rahman composed the music and Lyca Productions produced 2.0. There are strong speculations that 2.0 will hit the screens during Republic Day weekend.
