Independence Day Turns Sankranthi For Tollywood:- This Independence day falls on Tuesday and a five day long weekend made many movies hitting the screens. Monday being Krishnastami, Tollywood audience will have a treat as there are three films Lie, Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Jaya Janaki Nayaka releasing on August 11th. This Independence day weekend reminds us of the Sankranthi season during which a bunch of Telugu movies hit the screens. Here is the description about the films:
Lie: Young actor Nithiin is testing his luck with a stylish action thriller titled Lie. Hanu Raghavapudi who scored a decent hit with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha directed the movie. Lie has been mostly shot in USA and Megha Akash is the female lead. 14 Reels Entertainments bankrolled the movie and Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta are the producers. The trailers and the songs have been well accepted by the audience. Manisharma composed the music and Lie has been carrying decent expectations.
Nene Raju Nene Mantri: Rana Daggubati who scored massive hits with Ghazi and Baahubali: The Conclusion is testing his luck as a solo hero again with Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Directed by Teja, the movie features Kajal and Catherine Tresa as the heroines. The movie is said to be a political thriller and is bankrolled by Suresh Productions. Anup Rubens composed the music and surprisingly Nene Raju Nene Mantri has been ahead in all the online bookings.
Jaya Janaki Nayaka: Boyapati Sreenu is back with Jaya Janaki Nayaka and the movie features Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Pragya Jaiswal, Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie is said to be a high voltage action entertainer laced with loads of family emotions. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and M Ravindar Reddy is the producer. Jaya Janaki Nayaka has been carrying massive expectations and is said to be the costliest film among the three releases.
