Tamil and Telugu actress Jyothi Lakshmi passed away in Chennai. The actress was suffering from some health issues of late. She breathed last on Tuesday morning.

She was famous for being casted in the item songs. She acted in more than 300 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. She was also seen in couple of Bollywood films.

In 2015, director Puri Jagannadh released a film called Jyothi Lakshmi. During the promotions of the film, she was seen in couple of TV channels.

Jyothi Lakshmi was seen in so many super hit songs so far in her career. She made her debut into the film industry in the year 1963.

Pilla Piduga, Bangaru babu, Gaandharva Kanya, Bebbuli, Donga Ramudu and Party, Gandara Gandadu, Mosagallaku Mosagadu, Idha Lokam are some of her notable works in Telugu.
