Yesterday, International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Utsavam awards function began at Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
Several stars from the four South Indian languages- Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, are taking part in this two-day event (Jan.24 and 25th). Here is the list of winners and others who attended the colorful event.
Starting with the epic, Baahubali, the movie has won awards in the following six categories-
Best Tamil film,
Best director (Rajamouli)
Best Tamil Supporting role (Satya Raj)
Best Tamil supporting role female (Ramya Krishna)
Hariharan Sheshadri in Best singer category (Manohari song)
Best Tamil Playback singer (Geeta)
Just like Baahubali, even Premam movie bagged several awards in the following categories-
Best Malayalam Comedy actor (Vinay Fortt)
Best Malayalam Music Director (Rajesh Murugesan)
Best Malayalam Playback singer Male (Vijay Yesudas for ‘Malare’ song)
Best Malayalam lyricist (Shabareesh Varma)
Even Tamil movie ‘Maari’ took the awards in two categories-
Best Tamil Music Director (Anirudh Ravichandran)
Best Tamil lyricist (Actor Dhanush for ‘DonU DonU’ song).

Best Tamil Lead Role (Female) - Nayanathara for ‘Maya’ movie.
Best Malayalam Director- Lal Jose for the movie ‘Neena’.
Best Tamil Negative Role- Arvind Swamy for the movie ‘Thani Oruvan’.
Best Tamil Comic Role - Kovai Sarala for ‘Kanchana 2’ movie.
Best Malayalam Playback singer female- Shreya Ghoshal for 'Kathirunnu' from the movie ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’.
