One of the Tollywood’s leading Director VV Vinayak said that, Katthi movie remake with Chiranjeevi, is just a rumor.
 
When Puri Jagannath was out of Chiranjeevi 150th project and Vinayak stepped in, there are several rumors on their combination saying that, it would be another blockbuster like Tagore.

Tagore was a remake of a Tamil super hit flick Ramana. That remake helped Chiru, to secure a big blockbuster under Vinayak’s direction. So it is because of that, the rumor of Katthi remake was out, when the duo is joining hands for 150th movie.

Chiranjeevi’s 150th film is a prestigious one, as the actor is giving a re-entry into the films, after a long gap. So mega fans wished that the movie should have a new subject, but not a remake. Even several biggies in the industry opined the same.

So reportedly, Chiranjeevi withdrew Katthi remake and asked Vinayak to come up with a new subject. Vinayak reportedly prepared a mass masala subject and narrated it to Chiranjeevi. The latter is yet to give his nod.

While participating in the promotions of Akhil movie, answering to the question asked by the journalist, he said that, no discussions were held about Katthi movie remake with Chiranjeevi at all, it is just a rumor. Meanwhile, VV Vinayak’s latest movie Akhil, is gearing up for release on 11th of November. Hope the movie gives a good boost to Akkinenifans and a grand start up to Akhil’s career.
