Lezlie Tripathy. Watching her eyes can kill our vision, letting her into the dreams, might not make us wake up. I cannot say more than this, as she already struck into my sight.
Getting into the details, Lezlie is not a new name, as she already made her debut in Bollywood through ‘W’ last year. The film is a thriller and also thought provoking one. It deals with, how three women have been helpless, after they are raped and the way they took revenge on the culprits.
As the genre is a different one, the artists had a big scope to prove their acting skills to the best. Taking it as a challenge, Leslie as Roohi Malik, owned the character completely and gave a stupendous performance, which is generally observed in the senior Bollywood actresses like, Kareena Kapoor in Chameli, Susmitha Sen in Chingaari etc.
She was even applauded by many biggies in the film industry, after watching her break down scene in ‘W’, saying that, she projected the sheer pain and trauma felt by the actual victims thus, standing themselves out through the celluloid.
Not only in Bollywood, Lezlie even made her debut in Tollywood, through “Chusinodiki Chusinantha,” opposite Sivaji.

The current society needs actresses like Lezlie
Along with projecting glamour, Lezlie believes that a movie should even be able to educate the audience and direct them towards a better path. Especially the woman harassments that we observe these days, is very deeply felt by Lezlie.
So an actress who can own the character, she is given for the film, and bring out the liveliness from it, is very much needed currently, as that liveliness can be felt by the audience and relate to the actual facts happening in the real world. So hope such actresses like Lezlie will have better future in the coming days.
