Varuntej made a decent debut with Mukunda which released last year. The movie has been directed by Sreekanth Addala and Pooja Hegde played the female lead in the movie. The movie failed to impress the audience, however Varun has received wide response for his performance in the movie. He is now getting ready for his second movie in the direction of Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna (Krrish) and the movie will be launched on February 27th.

As per the latest news, the movie has been titled as Kanchey (Fence) and an official confirmation is yet to be arrived. Pragya Jaiswal has been finalized to play the female lead in the movie and MM Keeravani will compose the music for the film. Rajeev Reddy and Sai Baba Jagarlamudi will produce the movie on First Frame Entertainments banner. The movie is based the pre independence era and it will have a beautiful love story in it. The regular shoot of the film will start in March and the movie will release early next year.
