Director Mani Ratnam was out of the focus since very long time. His previous two flicks bombed miserably at box office which made him to go back to his basics and come up with an engaging script. On that note, Mani Ratnam started ‘Okay Kanmani’ starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nitya Menen in the lead roles.

This film will arrive in Telugu as ‘Okay Bangaram’ and the shooting of the film was wrapped up recently. Generally, Mani Ratnam takes his own time to complete the shooting of a film, but ‘Okay Bangaram’ has been wrapped in a given time.  The film’s script will be on the lines of ‘Sakhi.’

PC Sreeram is handling camera and AR Rahman is scoring music.
