Netflix to Produce Mani Ratnam's Navarasa:- Legendary director Mani Ratnam has been working on his comeback. He has been working on a periodic drama Ponniyin Selvan from some time and the shoot commences soon after the coronavirus pandemic comes to an end. The big-budget periodic drama will have its release during the second half of next year and has a list of top actors. Mani Ratnam is also working on a web series that is titled Navarasa. Mani Ratnam himself penned the script and it has nine episodes. Mani Ratnam's home banner Madras Talkies along with Amazon Prime are on board to produce Navarasa.

But in a surprise, Mani Ratnam inked a deal with Netflix to co-produce Navarasa. Netflix will pool out the funds and Madras Talkies will produce the web series. Navarasa will have nine episodes and they will be directed by Mani Ratnam, Gautham Menon, KV Anand, Bejoy Nambiar, Rathindran Prasad, Aravind Swamy, Siddharth, Karthik Naren and Ponram. Top actors like Suriya, Aravind Swamy, Siddharth, Vijay Sethupathi and others will play the lead roles in Navarasa. This big-budget web series will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Navarasa will stream next year on Netflix.
