Our tradition keeps the bridegroom from looking at the bride in the marriage ceremony. They used to keep a curtain between them till the jaggery-cumin paste is placed by both of them on each other's head. The ritual is done by slipping the hand by the bride/groom under the curtain which will be guided by the elders to reach the head of the bride/groom to place the paste.
The makers of Mahesh Babu’s “1” are also keeping the rendezvous of Mahesh fans and Mahesh Babu’s new Movie a ritual as explained above.
No photos, no video and no media like andhrawishesh are allowed to enter the premise where the audio function of “1” will be held today evening. Only media channels that have already entered into an agreement to cover the event are allowed. The film makers will share photos and videos after every one watches the audio function event on the TV or in the theaters.
Is it not a good way to keep up the suspense and tempo? But the reason is beyond it!
The two channels have paid Rs.2.5 crore for the exclusive rights to live telecast the function of Audio Release of “1”. And the condition is that no other media persons should be allowed to take snaps or video recording.
Reasonable condition if it is seen commercially as the amount paid to cover the event is the biggest offer made so far by any media.
