Tamil actor Vijay is rolling up his sleeves and gearing up for a real life fight. This time, the fight also involves Tamil Nadu's Amma, Jayalalitha. Reason? Vijay's Anna film, Thalaiva in Tamil, has been restricted from releasing in his home state.

Anna, or Thaliava, has released in all states except Tamil Nadu, resulting in huge losses for the film's producer. Vijay is naturally worried and has even written a personal letter to Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister Jaya Lalitha, emotionally requesting her to allow the release of Thalaiva.
