Renowned actor and noted rugby player, Rahul Bose is looked upon as a serious actor by many film critics. Right from his dialogue delivery to the body language, there will be so much variation in his acting from film to film. This celebrated actor was recently in Bengaluru wherein he spoke to the media on diverse topic that obviously included Indian cinema.
While item numbers are fast catching up and directors are showing interest to put item songs in their films, Rahul Bose said he dislike item songs. In fact, he says, item songs are disrespectful for film makers. However, he said he doesn't believe in censoring things from the film but opined that people should avoid watching item songs. He said one should go out of the halls the moment item songs begin and return to seats only when the item number is over. So, that's how item songs should be avoided, according to Rahul Bose.
Whatever Rahul Bose said is apparently correct. Item songs show women in a disrespectful situation, which is not good for the society too. When asked if there's a solution to this, film critics said that censor board should ban item songs. Anyway, it depends basically on film maker. Any film maker who expects decent audience to come to theatres will not go with item songs.
