175 artistes reunite for Rajpal Yadav's movie

Rajpal Yadav's directional debut is a grand one for sure as he had managed to bring 175 artistes together who performed for his movie Ata Pata Laapata. He admits that this was no walk in the park.

A few of these artists were his schoolmates bringing moments of nostalgia and fun in the film. He said that the movie was a sort of a reunion.

"It was like a big reunion for some of us. Working with friends, classmates and colleagues is always fun. But this time, the context had changed as I was acting and directing too. There's a scene where we play kabaddi, it's my favorite because it felt like we were on a picnic playing the game” he shared with media recalling shots from the movie.

However he talked that getting the huge cast together had its own downsides. "Having a huge cast has its own challenges, but everyone was very cooperative and trusted me as a director. Making a film is a team effort and I had a great time working with everyone”, he said.

Yadav said that the climax of the movie was the most memorable moment of the whole movie. He mentions that the scene films over 1800 people, the entire cast and crew, including the likes of late Dara Singhji. He said that the scene turned out exactly as he wanted it to be in the song Ram Bharose.

Ata Pata Laapata, produced by Radha Yadav's Shree Naurang Godavari Entertainment Ltd, would be on screens on November 2.
