Puri Jagannadh is the most happening director now since Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CMGR) is in the limelight. Jagannadh started this project after the success of Gabbar Singh, which got released this year itself. And within six months, CGR is complete. While many film experts opined that director has done this film with jet speed, Puri has a different version. He has said that he was not fast but other directors were slow.  He has even said that he doesn't need more time for his cinema. Since other directors were shooting slowly, his shooting appeared fast for others, said Puri Jagannadh at a press meet.

It may be noted that Puri Jagannadh made his entry into reel world as director with Badri movie in 2000. Pawan Kalyan played the lead role in that film. The movie became a sensational hit, which changed the outlook of Puri Jagannadh. Later, Pokiri movie made him get the place among top directors in Indian Cinema. This even made him work on a Hindi project. And with Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Puri is most likely to be on top of the world. Thanks to power star Pawan Kalyan for giving him a new life with Badri.
