A R Rehman was praised all through the felicitations that were held at Mumbai as he successfully completed his two decades of accomplishments. The otherwise shy music composer gave due credence to his parents and his associates for his tenure stretched to the present day. During the 6th Annual Global Indian Music Awards (GiMA) held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on Monday, the composer was honored.
The whole night was glitterati with songs from Rehman hits, rendered by renowned singers like Alka Yagnik, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam and the others.
The Mozart thanked one and all for making the moment very memorable. The Oscar Award winner undoubtedly down to earth and was nostalgic. Globally Indian Music does have a prominent place for this elite stalwart. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
