Power cuts in the state is literally effecting every industry and Tollywood is no exception. Due to hours of power cuts across the state, the theaters are switching off the air conditioners while they were playing movie especially on generators. People were therefore thinking twice before going to a theater. The observers said cinema theater owners should also come forward and pitch their voice against the power cuts otherwise people they would have to face heavy losses. Some political leaders were reportedly asking people to switch off even fans and in case fans are off in a theater, people would literally go nuts, opined a film enthusiast who now says he would never go for a matinee show wherein there would be at least one to two hours of power cut and theaters would run on generators with A.C s off.

If buzz is to be believed, power cuts were also turning out to be a pain in the neck of the reel operators, who have to take extra effort to ensure that viewing experience should not go for a toss. Well, it looks like people would slowly refrain themselves from going to theaters at least for morning and matinee shows. Thank God, there are no power cuts in Hyderabad in evenings. That could be the reason why getting first show and second show tickets for popular movies became a nightmare in Hyderabad these days.
