The success of Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu by the combination of Akkineni Nagarjuna and K Raghavendra Rao, has encouraged the duo to go ahead of another mythological project `Shirdi Sai.’ It is since some time, the grapevine has gone abuzz with this project. The latest is that the song recordings by MM Keeravani have been completed. The setting of Shirdi is put up in a village in Karnataka and the shoot for the film has been slotted to February 02. The first schedule of the film shall be for a brief span of 25 days is the report. The handsome lover boy King Nag is maintaining his balance and working piously for the role. Prior to the movie conceptualization, Nag and his wife Amala visited Shirdi to take the blessing of the Lord. Close sources also reveal that the actor had done intense research of the habits and mannerisms of the God Man, to be natural while acting.
King Nag is quoted `it is my honor to act in this film, as Baba. It has been my earnest desire to adore this role. Hope my fans and all film goers will receive this film, like my previous classics Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu.’
A. Mahesh Reddy is producing this film on Sai Krupa Entertainments banner. Bhaktha Suresh Kumar is providing the story and Paruchuri Brothers are penning dialogues for this film. S Gopal Reddy is the cameraman.
