I have just now seen a commercial of a brand that has a Tag ‘Move On’. Heroine Genelia plays a role of Air – Hostess who seduces the pilot of a flight, and Cricketer Virat Kohli play the Pilot. At once, I was shocked how did a Heroine like Genelia agreed to do such kind of an add. Just imagine what would all the other Air – Hostess would think.
It seems that Air – Hostess association reacted very serious after seeing the add. They feel, the role that Genelia played was very vulgar and insulting the entire profession of Air – Hostess. The people of association demanded to stop the broad casting of the commercial.
I wonder how Genelia agreed to do such a de grading act. When contacted Genelia turned out to be innocent and replied it was not her fault. She has only done what the director has said. Hmmm, Director’s Heroine, isn’t it?
