Thefilm dint do well, so she took a break for a year and did a Malyalam film ‘Makara Manju’, that became a very big hit. Even her debut film in Tamil ‘Ko’, that was released as ‘Rangam’ in Telugu, earned good reviews for the Actress both in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Sources say, Kartika would be seen in some big projects, near future. As she is very well aware of the darker side of the Industry and a Heroine’s on – screen life is very unpredictable, Kartika enrolled for a Bachelor in Business program from London School of Business.
