The launching of the southern superstar Rajanikanth’s multilingual film ‘Rana’ is postponed by a week.
Supposed to hit the floors today at his favourite AVM studios in Chennai, the launching ceremonies and muhurt shooting are now rescheduled for next week as the special set, being erected, is not yet complete.
The studio sources said it will take another one week to complete the set and shooting will begin only after its completion. Reports said the set belongs to the backdrop of 17th century and art director Rajeevan could not complete the set construction in the scheduled time.
However, Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, have attended a photo shoot for the film this morning at the studio. The historical film, coming up with a backdrop of 17th century, is being directed by KS Ravikumar and jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Eros International.
Music is by Oscar Award winner AR Rahman while Rathnavelu will handle the camera.
