2500 Chinese YouTube Channels Deleted By Google

2500 Chinese YouTube Channels Deleted By Google:- Google said that it has deleted more than 2500 YouTube channels that are linked to China on the name of disinformation. Google said that all these channels were deleted between April and June. Most of the content on these YouTube channels is non-political and spammy. They are removed apart of the quarterly bulletin on the process of disinformation. Google did not identify the channels and provide the details. There are tensions between the USA and China over technology. After India banned Chiese apps, USA announced that they have plans to ban the Chinese apps.

TikTok based in China was given a deadline until September to sell off to the USA or face a ban in the country. In terms of expansion, Google had some tremendous progress. China turned out to be the target for the entire world due to coronavirus pandemic and India had one more reason for border dispute issue. There are speculations that China is into data theft and phone cloning. It is then Google decided to ban the YouTube channels that are influenced by the Chinese. Google said that these channels tried to spread misleading information on the platform. The Chinese Embassy in the USA did not respond to the move of Google.
