Mumbai Indians [MI] posted their second win the IPL 7 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore [RCB]. Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to field. MI openers gave a decent start however could not carry on much and in first down Ambati Rayudu failed yet again. As MI fell in trouble, captain Rohit Sharma along with Pollard took up the responsibility. Rohit complete half century while Pollard did his job by making the ball cross the boundary line. MI posted 187 runs on the board at the end of their innings.
RCB in reply went to a flying start. Openers Parthiv Patel and Chris Gayle scored allround the ground and scorecard crossed 50 runs in just five overs. However, they could not carry the momentum and Harbhajan Singh dismissed Gayle and Patel. RCB captain Virat looked dangerous but failed to convert his innings to big. Previous match winner AB de Villiers and Yuvraj Singh went cheaply which made RCB fall in pressure. With no hard hitters down the order, RCB lost the match 19 runs.
Pollard, Starc spat

Pollard in reply moved away from crease and so Starc threw ball at the MI batsman. Angry Pollard also threw his bat and came running at Starc. On-field Umpires immediately tried to calm down the players. RCB Chris Gayle walked towards Pollard and pacified him.
