India in World T20 final

India crashed South Africa by six wickets in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup. After seven long years, India reached the final of this shorter format game and will be playing Sri Lanka in the finals on Sunday.

Winning the toss, South African opted to bat first. It wasn't a good start for the Proteas team as Kock was dismissed in the first over by Bhuvneswar Kumar. Amla along with skipper Faf du Plessis batter for some time before Ashwin bowled a master piece delivery. Amla was bowled by Ashwin and from Proteas took control. Plessis and Duminy batted exceptionally well and took the score to 172 runs at the completion of 20 overs.

In reply, India went to a flying start. Openers Rohit and Rahane batted well, however, in a hurry to score runs, Rohit threw his wicket. Then came the big man, Virat Kohli who blasted South African bowlers around the ground. With Rahane, Yuvraj and Raina, he batted till the end and powered India to a comfortable victory.
