Alas! Sachin contemplating over retirement

The curtains seems to be drawn on the magnificent career of the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. This is not a speculatory report but as felt by the stalwart himself. If things are to be believed then the batting icon might announce his decision some time next month about his illustrious career-future. Looks like there is a retrospection going within the close circles over the issue.

For the first time ever since the controversies had been cropping up over his retirement, the star batsman of cricket opened up. 'The moment of retirement is going to be hard because I haven't experienced anything close to what I might go through when I retire. It depends on what my heart tells me then. I need not take a call right now. When I play in November, I will reassess things,' Tendulkar remarked.

It is true that the hundred hundreds scorer had a bad patch in the recent past. But he was not the only one and many saw signs of his revival during the last few matches. But the batting prowess retorted, 'I am 39 and I don't think I have plenty of cricket left in me. But it depends on my frame of mind and my physical ability to deliver. When I feel that I am not delivering what is needed, and then I will re-look at the scheme of things. I am already 39 and no one expects me to go on playing forever.'

This had been quoted from his live TV interview to a prominent channel, today. This is the only time that the Rajya Sabha member had spoken of his game future in his 23 years of continuous cricketing career. And to the dismay of his billion fans this is going to be the saddest day ever. Wishesh hopes and prays that he is blessed with some more years of play and becomes instrumental in some more victories of the national team. Are you feeling the same, then comment below.
