Sania duo in French Open final

Sania MirzaSania Mirza and Elena Vesnina beat Americans Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond in the French Open Semi finals to step up and face Czech pair in the finals.  

 

In the Semi finals, Sania and Vesnina beat their opponents 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 in 105-minute semifinal contest at the Roland Garros, and Czech duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie hradecka beat Vania King of US and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan 6-3, 6-3 in another semifinal.  

 

This is Sania's third Grand Slam final appearance in her career - the first two being in the mixed doubles in the Australian Open.  

 

The Indo-Russian pair responded in a superb fashion and performed well with the great coordination, now they are in the French Open finals. Since their first pairing in February, Sania and Vesnina have won two titles - at the Indian Wells in March and in Charleston in April.  

 

Let’s hope Sania to go ahead with great career, “Go Sania Go”.
