Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 17 runs in their Indian Premier League match at Nehru stadium in Delhi on Thursday.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, skipper Mahela Jayawardene made an aggressive half century to take his team to 156 for five against KKR. The skipper made 55 runs in 41 balls with two fours and two sixes.
Another aggressive knock of 35 off 19 deliveries came from the Australian Brad Hodge who hit three fours and two sixes to guide the home side to a competitive total.
