Park your car using smartphone app

Now you can park your car using an app in your smartphone. All you need to do is to swipe a  virtual image on your mobile and the app will park your car. The app has been unveiled by Bosch that stated that the device is a ‘stepping stone’ to achieve driverless cars, reported metro.co.uk.

The app works by activating a dozen sensors located on the car to scan for space available in the parking lot and then takes charge of the vehicle to reverse or park parallel. Fred Sejalon, the engineering manager for the German technology company, on Tuesday launched the app titled Driverless Car Experience at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas.

During the launch Sejalon stated that the driver can either stay in his car or step out, the vehicle will do the parking when the app in the smartphone is activated. It's good news for drivers who aren't comfortable with parallel parking. The app will be available from next year and will also ensure that drivers drive in the correct lane.
