16 MP Wi-Fi camera by Nikon

Do you often feel how awesome it would be had digital cameras had an option to access to internet and upload photos? If this question pre-occupies your mind each time you take out  your smart phone to click a photograph, then there's something undoubtedly good for you. Digital camera major Nikon seemed to have given final shape to your wild imaginations as it has rolled out first ever digital camera, which runs on Android operating system. Sounds incredible right? But, it's true!

Named Coolpix S800c, this point-and-shoot camera is being equipped with Wi-Fi wherein you can access to internet through your camera. This is first ever digital camera, which will be having a 3.5 inch wide screen to view, exchange and upload the photos on your camera. While mobile phones included camera to attract photography lovers, digital cameras-in order to beat the competition from smart phones-are rolling out cameras with Wi-Fi finally. In a nut shell, one can say this as camera-cum-tablet just that you can't use it as a mobile phone to talk to others.

If we look at the technical specifications, the camera has got 10x  zoom lens with 16 megapixel CMOS sensor. One can even capture 1080p HD videos. The 3.5 inch screen is full touch. Although the company didn't mention about the battery back up, the tech experts were of the opinion that this camera would be a big hit given it's first of its kind. The estimated price of this cam would be around Rs. 20,000 (in India) when it will be rolled out next month.
