Bengaluru Bulls, with the help of star raider Rohit Kumar’s 11 points and Titans’ few playing errors, emerged as winners in Match 19 of fourth season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League on Tuesday at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Bengaluru Bulls are on 2nd spot in the points table with 18 points whereas Telugu Titans are at 6th with 9 points.
Titan’s poor play helped Bengaluru Bulls to take eight-point lead early on the second half. Nevertheless, Titans managed to send Rohit Kumar out of the tournament in the 29th minute but they could not get much from it as Bulls scored a super tackle to lead 22-16. Sandeep Narwal scored two raid points but his move fainted as Bulls managed to score another super tackle and took eight-point lead. Rohit, too achieved his ‘super 10’ in the 37th minute with a bonus point.
Earlier, in the first half, Titans were leading at 3-2 in the fifth minute. But 11 raid went empty in the game as the game was tied on 14th minute. However, Vinod Kumar scored an all-out giving the lead to his team of 14-8 in the 17th minute. Countering it, Nilesh Salunkhe from Titans scored two raid points and lowered the difference by 4 points. But Rohit Kumar was in tremendous form as he scored 7 raid points in the first half giving 16-11 lead to Bulls when they went for break.
At the end, Telugu Titans scored an all out but it was of no use as Bulls had already managed to take the firm lead in the game.
