U Mumba Defeated Dabang Delhi KC 38-34; Failed To Make It To The Semis

U Mumba beat Dabang Delhi KC by four points on Wednesday at Game 56 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League 2016 at Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi but failed to make it to the semis due to the scoring difference with Puneri Paltan. Dabang Delhi KC ended their campaign at the loosing note in front of their home crowd.

Raider Rishank Devadiga managed to level the game at 2-2 by scoring two important points. However, Kashiling Adake scored a raid point to lead 3-2 in the third minute. After the eight minute, Dabnag Delhi KC were leading 5-4. Adding to it, Kashiling Adake scored a raid to give his team 8-4 lead in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Delhi KC inflicted the first all out on U Mumba to lead 12-6. U Mumba tired to counter as they were trailing 10-14 in 15 minutes. Prashant Kumar Rai socred a super raid to provide Delhi KC a lead of 24-13 at the end of the first half. Delhi KC’s star raider Kashiling Adake scored seven points in the first half.

Later, in the second half, Rishank Devadiga’s four points as well as an all out to cut the deficit to 24-27 after 25 minutes. Another raid point from Rishank Devadiga helped U Mumba to trail26-28 in the 28th minute. Delhi KC played really well as they were leading 29-27 with only 10 minutes remaining to finish the game.Taking the momentum back, U Mumba scored points and in 34th minute they were leading at 34-30. At the end, with scoring raid points, U Mumba ended their campaign on the winning note as they failed to enter the semi finals.

It was highly unfortunate for U Mumba as even though they won the match they could not make it to the semi finals.
