General Bipin Rawat Died On The Way To Hospital:- The entire nation was left in deep shock with the demise of CDS General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash yesterday in Coonoor. 13 people of the 14 died in the crash including Bipin Rawat's wife Madhulika Rawat. Bipin Rawat was found alive and he was able to say his name when he was extricated from the wreckage told a rescuer. Bipin Rawat died when he was on his way to the hospital. The other person is being treated in a Wellington hospital. Bipin Rawat suffered severe burns in the lower part of his body. He was wrapped in a bedsheet and was taken to the ambulance. The locals told that the road was not convenient for the fire service engines to rush to the spot. The locals fetched water in pots from their houses. IAF personnel joined the rescue operation. The locals from the Kattery village rushed to the spot after they heard the thundering sound of the chopper crash. The chopper hit a tree and crashed due to the misty weather. Most of the bodies were trapped inside and the fir was not controllable. A team of doctors rushed to the spot and rushed the victims to the hospital. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will brief about the incident in Parliament today. Group Captain Varun Singh is the lone survivor and he is undergoing treatment in Wellington Military Hospital. Bipin Rawat was on his way to the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington and the crash took place about 10km from the helipad. The entire nation mourned his demise and reminded about the great work of Rawat. The mortal remains of Bipin Rawat and his wife will be brought to New Delhi in a military plane this evening. Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat and his wife dies in a Chopper Crash:- In a tragic incident, Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Defence Staff along with his wife and 11 others got killed in a chopper crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu this afternoon. The Indian Air Force issued a statement and the preliminary investigation said that the accident took place due to the foggy conditions. One person survived and he is being treated in a private hospital in Ooty. "With deep regret, it has now been ascertained that Gen Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat and 11 other persons on board have died in the unfortunate accident," told IAF in a statement. Bipin Rawat was on a visit to the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) in Wellington to address the students and the faculty. Group Captain Varun Singh SC, Directing Staff was the only person who survived after the accident. The Prime Minister-led Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) met immediately to discuss the situation. The bodies are noticed through the DNA tests that were conducted immediately. The crash took place at 2 PM and the helicopter Mi-17V5 crashed near to Coonoor. A probe was ordered in the incident. President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh offered their condolences. Rajnath Singh rushed to the residence of Bipin Rawat in New Delhi after the crash. "My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones in this accident. Praying for the speedy recovery of Gp Capt Varun Singh, who is currently under treatment at the Military Hospital, Wellington," posted Rajnath Singh.

India Reports 8439 New Coronavirus Cases:- The new cases of coronavirus saw a steady decline in the country and 8439 new cases are reported on Tuesday in India. The total tally of cases reported for coronavirus in India reached 3,46,56,822 and the active cases declined to 93,733. This is the lowest as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. With 195 new deaths, the death toll climbed to 4,73,952. There are several cases of Omicron variant reported in the country for now but the Health Ministry told that the situation is under control. All the foreign travelers arriving in India are thoroughly screened. The government of Karnataka capped the coronavirus RT-PCR test prices at the airports of the state. All the passengers who arrived from UK to Goa are tested negative for coronavirus. Four international travelers who reached Delhi airport are sent to hospital after they had symptoms of the new variant. A total number of 30 international travelers are admitted to the hospital. The total vaccine doses administered in the country are said to be 129.5 crores. The government of Telangana announced Rs 50,000 ex-gratia for the kin of the coronavirus victims in the state. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the variant of Omicron is more transmissible than the Delta variant. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested for coronavirus on December 7th are said to be 12,13,130 and the samples tested in total are 65,06,60,144.

TRS MPs Boycott Parliament:- The MPs of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) boycotted the winter session of Parliament after the Centre turned down the request of paddy procurement for the upcoming rabi season. The Centre turned down the request of the Telangana government after which the MPs staged a protest outside the Parliament by boycotting from the house. The MPs from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha walked out and protested outside the Parliament. They said that there is no need to attend the session as the Centre failed to address or answer for the issue in both the houses. The MPs obstructed the proceedings and raised slogans in the house about the paddy procurement. As lakhs of tonnes of paddy is lying in the rice mills, the MPs demanded the Centre to procure the pending paddy stocks for the upcoming rabi season and the previous Kharif season. They said that the state would suffer huge losses if the paddy is not procured. They said that the Centre procured paddy from Punjab. Nama Nageshwar Rao, the floor leader of TRS said that they have been raising the demand of paddy procurement in both houses since November 29th from the day the winter session of Parliament commenced.
