Coffee lovers in Bangalore can now get a taste of Starbucks in their city. On Friday, the first outlet of Starbucks, the American coffee giant, was opened in south India, according to reports.
During the opening of the store, John Culver, Starbucks Group president - China and Asia Pacific (Channel Development and Emerging Brands) said that coffee from India can now be taken to its other stores across the world. He added that the Arabica coffee grown in India was found to be of top quality and was served at the outlets in India.
Starbucks has 19,000 stores across the world. Two more stores of Starbucks will be opened at Orion Mall at Brigade Gateway and Phoenix Market City in Bangalore, by year end.
