5-Door Force Gurkha Spotted While Testing:- Force has been working on a five-door version of Gurkha for a while and the testing SUV was spotted. This is not the final model as per the update as the final production for the SUV is yet to commence. There are several noticeable changes when compared to its 3-door version. The 5-door Gurkha is expected to have its launch with a stretched version and it is expected to be launched during the second half of this year. There is a huge difference in appearance in the SUV because of the addition of two doors. The SUV also comes with split windows between the second and the third row instead of a long window.
It also has a larger footstep between the longer wheelbase. There are horizontal ventilation slits on the top of the front wheel arches and they will serve the purpose. From the front, the design of the bumper is unchanged. The headlamps are changed as the units are square-shaped. The SUV comes in 6 or 7 seater options. The 6 seater version comes with captain seats on all the rows and the 7 seater SUV may come with a bench in the middle. There are also discussions about the 8 seater variant and the last seat is accessed from the last door of the SUV. It comes with a 2.6 litre diesel engine along with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
