Swedish carmaker Volvo has S90 in India at Rs. 53.5 lakhs. With that, let's also preview what's in store for the buyers and enthusiasts. So, the Volvo S90 packs in a lot of premium styling, luxury, comfort, modern features and equipment.

It will also attract buyers who look for all these aspects to score better in a car. With the Volvo S90, all of them will be made available at an aggressive and affordable price. It also gets based on the design philosophy of the XC90 SUV and it quite succeeds the S80.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre D4 turbocharged diesel mill that will create 187 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. Transmission will be an 8-speed automatic gearbox that will come as standard. It will also get LED DRLs, which will be seen right in the middle of the headlight enclosure.

Volvo has also given the S90 quite a lot of chrome styling all over, which does accentuate the windows and the doors. The wraparound tail lamps and the boot lid seem well sculpted and attractive.

The interior also gets new premium upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system with navigation support and Bowers & Wilkins sound system. Other tech includes heated/cooled front seat, automatic climate control, etc. along with safety tech as ABS, EBD, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), airbags, etc.

S90 will compete rival the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and the Jaguar XF.
