Volkswagen has affirmed that the long-wheelbase version of theĀ Tiguan will be revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2017.
It affirmed that the separation between the Tiguan's axles has developed by 11 centimeters. Joined with a more extended rear overhang, the greater body arranges for enough space in the storage compartment for another combine of seats. The car imparts the front belt to the littler, 5-seater Tiguan SUV and the augmentation from the C-Pillar is exceptionally particular.
The engine that the long-wheelbase Tiguan is likely to get is the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor which will send power to the front wheels or all four wheels via VW's 8-speed automatic transmission.
The more Tiguan depends on VW's particular MQB suspension and will be worked close by the five-seater form in Puebla, Mexico, which is the biggest VW plant outside Germany.
Other than the fairly expansive SUV, Volkswagen has plans for various littler SUVs, including a creation rendition of the Golf-sized T-Roc and a Polo-based SUV which is probably going to be called T-Cross. It is anticipated that the T-Cross will come to India in 2018.
The 5-seater Volkswagen Tiguan will hit showrooms in India next year. It'll rival any semblance of the Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1.
