A 14 year old boy in Irving, Texas, US, was arrested, after he showed a homemade clock to his teacher, whom she mistook it for a bomb.  

However, upon realizing the truth, the police left him and he was later invited to the white house by President Obama, appreciating him, for his interest in the science.

With hashtag "#IstandwithAhmed," many intellectuals and normal public appreciated Ahmed. A few opined that, he was jailed, only because of his name (Muslim). However the police condemns those statements, calling them as rumors.
